COVID19 has cause us all to cautious. For safety reasons we have been asked to practice social distancing. The Governor has asked that we stay in areas of less than ten people and asking that we stay at least 6 feet away. Therefore, causing martial arts school and gyms to rethink the way they do business.
As I am home practicing my social distancing. I will do my best to help you become aware of what our local MMA community is doing to stay fit, mentally and physically during this time. Lets all work together to make it happen.
Ultimate MMA has been forced to speed up their online presence. Thanks to Marisa Messer-Belenchia, for working all day and night to make it happen. She was able to create an app that will cover everything you need to know and review with the professional knowledge behind it. They managed to provide a social setting. Make sure to check out their new app. With that you can practice social distancing as well as still keeping up with your fitness.
Coach Marco Alvan from Team Link is conducting daily webinars. Where Team Link Coaches and himself discuss techniques, strategies, IBJJF rules and more, to continue student betterment and to better a sense of community.
Another school Red Seal Martial Arts Co. has been providing online classes to stay fit. All these individuals are accommodating as many people as possible. These are small business that depend on the income of their clients. To ensure their clients are getting what they are paying for they are going above and beyond, while still practicing social distancing.
COVID19 is a serious matter and should not be taken lightly. Make sure to stay up to date with the news to prepare accordingly.
